Zazen (in person)

5:30 pm Zazen

6:10 pm Service

In person only on Aug 27th for evening zazen.

Zoom will not be available while the internet service is being worked on

In person participants: Zazen at the zendo is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Masks are required. At six-foot spacing there is room in the zendo for up to nine people. If there are more than nine people, some will sit outdoors. Only one person at a time may be in the foyer/ shoe area. There will be no chanting in the zendo itself. If you want to follow along silently with the chant, bring your own copies of the chant book.  For now, Zoom-zazen will be the ‘lead’ with bells and chanting, audible for zendo sitters through the computer. Access to the downstairs bathroom in the house will be allowed for one person at a time. Dress warmly, bring a cap and an extra wrap – it can be chilly in the zendo when the fans and air filter are running!

Anticipate more days and times being added to the hybrid schedule in the future as we all adjust to the new arrangements.
